From North Walker Township to Comstock Park
Comstock Park's land was first settled in 1839 by Solomon Wright II as part of North Walker Township; Alpine Township formed from its northern half in 1847, and the community took the name Comstock Park in 1906, honoring former U.S. Representative Charles C. Comstock.
